Building Engines Appoints New Chief Financial Officer, Chief Sales Officer to Drive Corporate Growth & Deliver Differentiated Value

New hires signal continuing commitment to elevate business through experienced executives

Boston:

Building Engines, the leading provider of building operations software for modern commercial real estate (CRE), today announced that it has appointed Deirdre O’Driscoll as chief financial officer and Colleen Honan as chief sales officer, continuing to add to its deep bench of veteran leaders. The pair will report directly to CEO Tim Curran and bring decades of operational experience to support the company’s build, partner and buy growth strategy.

The most recent executive hires are the latest examples of the company’s ongoing commitment to operate on a customer-first approach, while maintaining fiscal discipline. Building Engines’ executive team has been steadily rebuilt, with four of the seven members of the C-suite joining within the past year.

“I’m delighted that Deirdre and Colleen are joining our executive team,” said Tim Curran, Building Engines CEO. “We’re rapidly taking Building Engines to the next level, and their deep expertise in their respective areas will be integral to our success.”

As CFO, O’Driscoll will focus on Building Engines’ financial strategy and execution to help ensure company growth. O’Driscoll brings more than 30 years of broad financial management experience to the Building Engines team, with more than 20 years as a CFO leading fast-growing SaaS companies to profitability.

In the chief sales officer role, Honan will drive company growth through sales to new and existing customers, as the company brings its building operations software platform to the commercial real estate market. Honan joins Building Engines with more than 20 years of experience as the leader of direct sales, channel sales, inside sales and sales management teams.

Building Engines continues to deliver strong results, despite the global pandemic.

“We’re well positioned to come through this challenging time stronger than ever,” added Curran.  “We will continue to deliver unique value to our customers, no matter what the next decade brings.”
