After last week’s Boston Marathon Explosion tragedy, the city collectively breathed a sigh of relief when the Marathon Bombers were captured. As life slowly returns to normal, it is important that we remember those lost in the explosions and extend a helping hand to the victims who are still recovering from severe injuries.

Roseann Sdoia is a long time member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and Vice President of Property Management at National Development who was severely injured in Monday’s Boston Marathon explosions. Roseann has undergone several surgeries since last week, losing one leg above the knee and removing shrapnel from her abdomen. The recovery process will be long for Roseann and as such her friends and family have established the Roseann Sdoia Recovery Fund in order to help her pay for all of the hospital bills and expenses incurred with the injuries she sustained at the marathon.

Roseann is an active and respected member of the real estate community and our hope is that we can come together to support her in her recovery effort.
